ARTISANAL SHIZEN TAKU
Prints
Chincoteague seashell Shizen Taku print
Shizen Taku, meaning "nature impression" in Japanese, is an artisanal print-making technique developed by URŪCU founder, Dr. Emily Y. Horton. Each unique Shizen Taku print is attentively crafted by hand, inspired by nature, and informed by Japanese aesthetics with undertones from the Americas, North and South. This blending of East and West reflects Emily's heritage as well as her love for biocultural diversity as an environmental anthropologist.
Shizen Taku prints come in an origama-kissed envelope.
